Day 3 of Clockenflap 2024: Jack White, Glass Animals, and Jamie xx Shine ; 2025 Dates Revealed!

Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s premier international outdoor music and arts festival, concluded its 2024 edition in style last weekend. The three-day extravaganza at Central Harbourfront offered attendees a stellar lineup of live music, arts, and family-friendly activities, culminating in a series of unforgettable performances.

The festival saved the best for last, with legendary American rock icon Jack White headlining the Harbourflap Stage and delivering a spellbinding set to close out the event. Other standout performances on the Harbourflap Stage included the ethereal sounds of British psychedelic pop-rock band Glass Animals, the enchanting voice of J-Pop sensation yama, and the soulful melodies of Thai singer-songwriter Violette Wautier.

Diverse Performances Across All Stages

The Hang Seng Stage was equally electrifying, featuring a headline set by pioneering UK DJ and producer Jamie xx, whose innovative beats kept the crowd moving late into the night. Japanese post-rock legends toe, Taiwanese rock band Gigantic Roar, and Dutch psychedelic rock outfit Yīn Yīn also delivered standout performances.

At the Park Stage by Martell, festivalgoers were treated to a rich mix of talent, including Hong Kong post-hardcore group An Id Signal, Xi’an post-punk innovators FAZI, and rising US shoegaze artist Wisp. Over at the Electriq Stage, acclaimed UK DJ Yung Singh and British electronic duo Y U QT kept the energy high with dance-worthy sets.

Clockenflap’s appeal extended beyond music, with workshops and activities catering to attendees of all ages. Highlights included the participatory Drum Jam, the movement-based Animal Flow, and the vibrant Kids’ Disco & Parade, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
