Rebuilding Bonds Through the Joy of Play

Front and center of this year’s global campaign is a touching new short film by The LEGO Group, reminding families everywhere that play is more than fun—it’s a bridge back to one another. The film follows Eddie, a 12-year-old who has traded playtime for alone time in his room. But his imaginative younger sister has other plans. With a single click of a LEGO® brick, she unleashes Cataclaws and an army of lively minifigures to whisk Eddie back into a world of creativity, chaos, and connection.

Driving the story is a festive remix of Lionel Richie’s iconic “Hello,” cleverly reimagined by the LEGO Holiday Choir to ask, “Is it play you’re looking for?”. Hundreds of minifigures—from Star Wars legends to Marvel heroes to Ninjago ninjas—come together for a humorous, heartwarming musical celebration of family fun.

Festive Magic Lights Up Kuala Lumpur

As a special local treat, Malaysians will get to experience the campaign in a spectacular, larger-than-life form. A dazzling festive video animation featuring Cataclaws and fan-favourite LEGO characters will illuminate Menara TSLAW from 4–7 December 2025, 7:00pm to 12:00am. Expect colour, movement, and a whole lot of LEGO holiday cheer bursting across the city skyline.

To make the season even more magical, The LEGO Group has partnered with 1 Utama Shopping Centre to bring families an immersive festive showcase running from from 4–28 December 2025.
