Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has launched the ECB-2200HTR, a collaboration model with Honda TYPE R in the EDIFICE line, embodying the brand’s concept of “Speed and Intelligence.” The TYPE R, a premium-grade Honda sports model designed as the ultimate road car, integrates traditional Honda racing technologies refined over 30 years of innovation. Exclusive to TYPE R cars are two distinctive features: “Championship White,” an ivory-white paint symbolizing the F1TM racing spirit, and the iconic “Red H” badge dating back to the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix victory with the Honda RA272 F1TM race car.

The new EDIFICE Honda TYPE R Edition ECB-2200HTR captures the TYPE R essence through meticulous attention to color, material, and finish. The dial ring is painted with authentic “Championship White,” and the face is adorned with a faithfully reproduced three-dimensional “Red H” badge. Additionally, the white genuine leather band showcases TYPE R model codes, spanning from the 1992 NSX NA1 to the present-day Civic FL5, marking milestones in Honda’s history of challenge and innovation. Engravings of “TYPE R” logos, a “Honda” logo on the deployment buckle, and an “R” mark on the stopwatch timer button express the tireless spirit of challenge inherent in the TYPE R worldview.

The deployment buckle ensures a comfortable fit, and the band’s underside features Alcantara, mirroring the material used in TYPE R cars. The ECB-2200HTR is equipped with Mobile Link features, allowing smartphone pairing via Bluetooth® for automatic time correction and easy adjustment of world time and other functions.
