ROCK REBELLION IGNITES: Evanescence & K.Flay Drop Blistering Anthem “Fight Like A Girl” for John Wick Spin-off Ballerina

The countdown is over. GRAMMY® Award-winning rock legends Evanescence and alt-rock powerhouse K.Flay have joined forces for a first-of-its-kind sonic collision on the electrifying new single, “Fight Like A Girl” — out now via SONY. The track hits hard as the first end title song from Ballerina, the long-awaited, action-packed John Wick spin-off film, premiering June 6th.

This high-octane anthem, co-written by Evanescence’s Amy Lee, K.Flay, Dylan Eiland, and Tyler Bates (who also produced the track and scored the film), is a relentless, defiant roar that matches the pulse-pounding energy of the film. With razor-edged vocals and a searing message of strength and survival, “Fight Like A Girl” is more than just a soundtrack single — it’s a war cry.

“I know I’m not the only girl out there ready to dig my heels in and show the world what we’re made of,” says Amy Lee. “Tyler calling me up to create this song for Ballerina couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. I really wanted this song to be a collab, and K.Flay is one of my favorite artists. It is literally a dream come true to do this together!”

K.Flay brings her signature grit to the project, saying, “Amy sent me the demo and I was immediately so energized, so inspired. I wrote my verse backstage after a show, when my adrenaline was still super high. For me, the film and the song are both about how we channel our pain and how we choose to define ourselves. What separates the hero from the villain?”

Following the fiery drop of Halsey and Amy Lee’s “Hand That Feeds” earlier this May, “Fight Like A Girl” expands the Ballerina soundscape with a bold feminine fury that demands to be felt.

Set in the blood-soaked underworld of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Ballerina follows Eve Macarro (played by Ana de Armas) as she begins her transformation into a deadly assassin, training under the fearsome Ruska Roma. The film stars a powerhouse cast including Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves, and is helmed by director Len Wiseman with a screenplay by Shay Hatten, based on characters by Derek Kolstad.

Lionsgate and Thunder Road Films deliver a ballet of bullets and vengeance — and “Fight Like A Girl” is the anthem that echoes in its wake.

And the momentum doesn’t stop there. Evanescence will blaze through a string of live dates this fall, including stops on My Chemical Romance’s Black Parade tour, a headlining set at Louder Than Life, and a massive run with Metallica on their M72 World Tour.
